Open Our Beaches

San Diegans have been unable to fully enjoy their beaches for far too long. Imperial Beach has faced closures for over a thousand days, and Coronado, a key tourist destination, continues to suffer the same fate. This crisis, driven by untreated stormwater runoff and sewage from the Tijuana River Valley, demands immediate action.

The time for talk is over — we don’t need more studies to confirm what we already know. Human waste is crossing our borders, polluting our waters, and keeping our beaches closed. Enough is enough. Our community deserves clean water and access to safe beaches.

We urge state and federal leaders to step up with decisive action and the courage to fix this crisis once and for all. Join us in demanding real solutions, not more delays. Sign the petition and help restore our beaches for everyone in San Diego!
