Megan Ewart | Policy Advisor

Megan was born in Oceanside, CA and graduated from Pepperdine University in 2019 with a B.A. in International Studies and a master’s degree in Dispute Resolution. Megan was a member of the Pepperdine Women’s Basketball team, studied abroad in East Africa and Argentina, and worked as a tutor, office assistant, and Student-Athlete academic mentor.

Megan has spent three years working on political campaigns and a year volunteering for an anti-human trafficking nonprofit before joining Supervisor Desmond's team. In her current role, she specializes in Health & Human Services, including Behavioral Health Services, Eligibility Benefits, Aging and Independent Services, Child Welfare Services, as well as Public Safety, including Fire, Child Support Services, EMS, Medical Examiner, Office of Emergency Services, Probation, Public Defender, District Attorney, and the Sheriff's Department.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family, going to the beach, reading, and working out. With her broad range of interests and experiences, she brings a unique perspective and skill set to any project or task she takes on.
