Should IDs Be Required to Vote?

Election integrity is the foundation of our democracy. In California, you need an ID to drive, fly, or receive government benefits — but not to vote. That doesn’t make sense.

On Tuesday, Supervisor Jim Desmond is bringing forward a proposal urging San Diego County to support voter ID laws and push back against Sacramento’s recent ban on local voter ID requirements.
